Personal bests and preferences are written to your browser’s localStorage, under keys prefixed hbt:. That covers your typing personal bests, your best reaction time, your aim score and your ruler calibration. This data stays on the device, is readable only by this site, and is removed if you clear site data for this domain.

Aggregate page-view analytics are collected through Vercel Analytics. It records the page visited and coarse technical information such as country and device type. It does not use cookies, does not build a cross-site profile, and never receives anything you type or any test result.

This site is free and may carry advertising from Google AdSense. Where advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and personalised advertising can be managed at Google My Ad Center or turned off entirely at Google Ads Settings. No advertisement on this site is ever placed between you and a test result, and no test data is shared with any advertiser.

No accounts. No email addresses. No sign-in. No uploads. No recordings of audio or video. The hearing test only ever produces sound; it never requests microphone access. The color vision test draws to a canvas; it never requests a camera.

The color vision and hearing pages are screening indicators, not medical examinations. Their results are computed and displayed on your device and are not stored, transmitted or analyzed by anyone. They are not medical records and should not be treated as any.
